Prior to Day 4 Teachers will be required to teach something they have learnt on Day 3 to a class or a small group of students. They should write a reflection on the lesson and students’ learning. There will be a plenary to discuss this at the start of Day 4. Participants will also consider the following questions ….which you may wish to try with your higher tier students 1) Prove that the product of two odd numbers is always odd. 2) Prove the sum of any 5 consecutive numbers is always a multiple of 5. 3) Prove that the product of any three consecutive integers is a multiple of 6. 4) Start with any two-digit number and write it down. Reverse the digits and add to your starting number. Prove that the answer is always a multiple of 11.
